Bark and
Soil

Essential to any gardening or landscaping project, barkdust brings a harmony that both protects the ground it covers and beautifies its surroundings. Barkdust not only aids in blocking weeds but also helps retain moisture while controlling erosion. Chose from fir or hemlock or line your walking path or playground with our hardy cedar chips.

Bark and Soil Varieties

hemlock barkdust

Hemlock Barkdust

3/4" medium, dark

Hemlock is often preferred when used around children or pets because of its “sliver-less” properties. Excellent mulch for flower beds and general groundcover as it will help blocks weeds yet retain moisture, all the while controlling erosion.

cedar playground chips

Cedar "Playground" Chips

approx 1"

Cedar chips make durable ground cover – naturally flea and rot resistant, typically used for play areas, dog runs, walkways and trails.

fir barkdust

Fir Barkdust

3/4" medium, reddish

Fir barkdust is excellent mulch for flower beds and general groundcover as it will help blocks weeds yet retain moisture, all the while controlling erosion.

airport bark

Airport Bark

Reddish tone, similar to medium fir, but without the fines so it’s more wind resistant.

deco nuggets

Deco Nuggets

Roughly 1 - 1 ½” in size, it’s our largest bark. Does well in windy areas.

topsoil

Topsoil

Screened to remove rock. Good for leveling and/or planting.

3-way soil

3-way Soil

20% sand, 40% screened topsoil, and 40% compost

Our 3-way soil is pre-blended so it’s ready to go and may be used as a soil amendment for any garden area. It’s also great for raised flower beds or reseeding a lawn, as well as potted plants.

compost

Compost

Rich, dark texture to add nutrients to the soil. Can be tilled in, or top-dressed on flower beds or lawns.
